Congregation Honored with Torch of Learning Award

The Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace recently received the “Torch of Learning Award” from the Scholarship Fund for Inner-City Children (SFIC), recognizing them as champions of education and opportunity.

Peace Ministries was honored to attend the celebration, along with representatives from each of our sponsored ministries, to show our support and celebrate the lasting impact the Sisters have had on countless lives through their commitment to education.

Sister Susan Francois, CSJP, accepted the honor on behalf of the Congregation during the SFIC Annual Gala on May 7 at West Orange’s Pleasantdale Chateau.
