Congregation Honored at Holy Name’s 100th Anniversary Gala

Holy Name celebrated its 100th Anniversary Founders Ball at MetLife Stadium and honored the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace.

On April 5, over 600 people gathered to celebrate the health system's centennial. The evening began with cocktail hour in the Coaches Club and then moved onto the field under a large tent for the program, dinner and dancing.

Cardinal Joseph W. Tobin, archbishop of Newark, offered the invocation. Guests were treated to performances by opera singer Christopher Macchio.

The Spirit of Healing award was given to the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace and Aleta and Rich Taylor for their leadership, advocacy and support. (View the honoree videos here.)

The evening concluded with fireworks and a drone show.
